It is not uncommon for limits of smallmouth bass to be caught daily. The season starts in June and runs through late October, peeking in August. Schools of quality fish can be found until later October with many 5 pound plus fish being caught.

Basic smallmouth bass charters are at least 8 hours from dock to dock, the charter can accommodate up to six fisherman. The cost for the basic charter is $495.00. An Ohio license is needed for US waters and a Canadian license is required for fishing the Canadian side.
